However, we have remained pure, guarded each others hearts, and have really just become the best of friends. In fact, I never would have imagined I would have a girl for a best friend. We have held each other accountable, and had others do so, we have prayed for and with each other, helped each other in guarding our hearts, we have helped each other resist temptations, and have just been there for each other through thick and thin.
And believe me, there have been some pretty thick and thin times.
I grew up as a member of the homeschool community back when we were hiding from the cops and getting our textbooks from public school dumpsters.
When I was a teenager, my friends started reading this new book called I Kissed Dating Goodbye. After reading it myself, I grew into as big an opponent of dating as you could find.
Dating was evil and Courtship, whatever it was, was godly, good and Biblical.
My grandparents would often ask why I wasn’t dating in high school.
Young people are now encouraged to give up the "world's idea of dating" and replace it with "Biblical" courtship.
