UAV is one of the alternative ways to ease the process of acquiring data with lower operating costs, low manufacturing and operational costs, plus it is easy to operate.
There are two types of analysis that are carried out in this study which are quantitative and qualitative assessments.
Quantitative assessment is carried out by calculating root mean square error (RMSE).

The digital data set available was a result of conversion from the same outdated maps Maps have been created using aerial Photogrammetry and the method has proved expensive for Malawi to maintain its use due to limited resources.
Digital image processing techniques, cluster analysis, analytic geometry, raster computer graphics, mathematical statistics, cartography and GIS technology are used.
